About the symposium

As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly embedded within healthcare and higher education, this symposium offers an opportunity to reflect on its implications for teaching, learning and professional practice. The programme will feature keynote speakers, panel discussions and examples from practice that encourage critical discussion and the exchange of ideas across the healthcare education community.

This is an educational event, and therefore no registration fees will be charged to attendees. The symposium is organised by Leicester Medical School in collaboration with MedRIFT.

The aim is to move beyond asking what AI can do, towards understanding how it should be used to support better learning, stronger clinical judgement and better care.
